  • How Do I Book with Logan McNeil Media?
    Booking in couldn't be simpler. Head over to my Contact page and fill out the form - this is going to take you two minutes. I will get back to your enquiry within 24 hours, so sit tight and wait for my email. Let's chat! I can use any communication channel, email, phone call, zoom call, meeting for a coffee, whatever suits you best, let me know. I can't wait to hear from you!
  • What Photography Services Do You Offer?
    I offer photography services to capture your wedding or event, creating memories to look back on for years to come. I shoot digital, high-resolution images that are print-ready, meaning you can get them printed and put on your wall and they will still look high quality. Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery, that allows you to view and download your whole gallery or single images. This gallery is also able to be shared to your guests, to spread the beautiful moments to all those who celebrated with you. I offer travel within the Perth Metro area as standard - no extra fees! Most of all, I offer all of my knowledge and experience to you, for anything related to your event. If you need help planning your event, I am here for you. I am at your service and will work harder than anyone else to ensure your event runs perfectly.
  • Who Will My Photographer Be?
    My name is Logan and I am a Perth-based Wedding and Event Photographer. I am passionate about creating memories and capturing moments in images. I believe being compatible with your photographer is the most important factor when choosing who to book. Get to know me a bit better.
  • Where am I Based and What Locations do I Service?
    I am based in Perth, Western Australia. I service the whole Perth metro area, from Mandurah to Yanchep, and out to Toodyay as standard. That means no travel fees within the metro area. I love to travel, and I especially love shooting in new places! I am more than happy to shoot in southwest WA, up north, interstate, or even overseas. I have travelled a lot in the past and am no stranger to an airport. I've got my driver's license and passport ready, just say the word and I'll pack a bag.
  • What Wedding Photography Services do you Offer?
    I offer photography services to capture your wedding day in beautiful, timeless images that you can look back on for all the years to come. I shoot digital, high-resolution images that are print-ready, meaning you can get them printed and put on your wall and they will still look high quality. Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery, that allows you to view and download your whole gallery or single images. This gallery is also able to be shared to your guests, to spread the beautiful moments to all those who celebrated with you. I offer travel within the Perth Metro area as standard - no extra fees! I love to travel, so if you are not from Perth, or are having a Destination Wedding, I'd be so keen to make that happen. Leading up to, and on your wedding day, I will be right there with you. I am your photographer, but I am also a friend and advisor who will move heaven and earth for you. Having been to a good few weddings, I have experience in how it all goes, what to look out for, and what to do when things don't go to plan. Weddings can get stressful at times, but I always keep a level head and help resolve any issues that may arise, so you can get back to enjoying your day ASAP! Having been in the wedding space, I have gotten to know some amazing wedding vendors. If you need a recommendation, let me know and I can send over some options who I know will do an amazing job for you. Most of all, I offer all of my knowledge and experience to you, for anything related to your wedding day.   • What is an Engagement Shoot and do I Need One?
    Great question! An engagement shoot is a quick photoshoot with you, your fiance and me, sometime before your wedding day. Engagement shoots are great to get you warmed up in front of the camera, ahead of your big day, and get some incredible shots for your invitations, or for your wall. Being engaged is such a special period of your journey together, marking the commitment you have both made to each other - why wouldn't you capture it to look back on! It's also a good opportunity to get to know me better, test-drive me as your photographer, so once your wedding day comes, we are already good friends, and everything is easy. Engagement shoots with me are all about fun. It's a super low pressure, low-key environment, hanging out, getting to know each other, and getting some beautiful shots. Afternoons and sunset are the classic times for a shoot, typically on a weekday, but I can work with your schedule to find a time that suits. Though an engagement shoot is focussed on just the couple, if you have little ones or fur babies and want them to be a part of the shoot - let me know and let's do it! Having been a photographer for several years now (and a Perth local my whole life) I know lots (trust me) of beautiful locations for different areas of Perth, and for different vibes. I will recommend a location close to you that will fit your vibe and send you all the info you need for the day: what time to arrive, where to park, if there are toilets available, outfit inspo, and what to expect.   • Do I Need a Second Photographer?
    At a wedding, there can be a lot going on at once. A second photographer can help make sure everything is captured. I do absolutely believe in the value of having a second photographer. I have second shot over 20 weddings for other photographers. That being said, I am not going to recommend one if I don't think it is necessary. Traditionally, the couple will get ready in separate locations and reunite at the ceremony. If these getting ready locations are quite a distance apart and may take some time to drive between, this could be a good case for a second photographer, with one photographer covering each of the getting ready sessions. If this is a concern, let me know and we can work through the timeline to see if this is necessary. Ceremony's are the other big reason you may want a second photographer. They can help get alternate angles and generally more coverage of that portion of the day, the part where you say I DO! My favourite angle for a second photographer is to focus on the (traditionally) groom at the alter, and get their reaction once they see their (traditionally) bride walking down the aisle. If you're still unsure, let's have a chat about it.
  • How Will I Receive My Photos?
    You will receive a link to a professional online gallery with all your beautiful photos. This gallery allows for easy viewing and sharing of your photos, and unrestricted high-quality downloads. Prints can also be purchased directly from the gallery. Galleries are guaranteed to stay online for six months.
  • How Many Wedding Photos Will I Receive?
    I do not believe in gatekeeping images in any job I shoot. Images are no good sitting on my hard drive - I want you to enjoy them. That being said, I only include the best images that I know you want to see and that best represent your special day. Photos that are blurry, or have people's eyes closed and the like will not be included. If I get trigger happy and take 47 images of the same pose, I'll make sure you only see the best ones. I want you to enjoy looking through your gallery as it tells the story of your wedding day - I dont want to drown you in thousands of unnecessary images. To put a number on it, a wedding day with 8 hours coverage will result in 300-600 images typically. I find this to be a sweet spot that covers everything, without being excessive.
  • When Will I Receive My Wedding Photos?
    You best believe I want you to see these photos, but editing hundreds of photos takes time. You can't rush art. To combat this, I offer sneak peeks of a few highlight photos from across the day, delivered within 48 hours of your wedding. This gives you a taste of your gallery, and more importantly gives you something to post ASAP! I know you will be excited to share your special day with everyone who couldn't be there on your socials! The whole gallery will be delivered to you within 60 days of your wedding, though I will do my absolute best to get the editing done and get your gallery to you as soon as I can.
  • What Size Weddings do you Shoot?
    I love weddings of all shapes and sizes! From 5 people, to 100, to 300 people, I have you covered. Micro weddings and elopements have really increased in popularity since Covid (2020 onwards), with just a few of the very most important people attending. These are so intimate, with a low-pressure environment, don't require as much planning, and can be very budget friendly, leaving you more cash for your honeymoon! The approximately 100 person wedding hits a sweet spot in being able to invite your friends and family, focussing on those most important to you. Weddings are often the only times your extended families are together in one room at one time, and this size can be fantastic to catch up with everyone. If having lots of photos of all your wonderful guests is important to you, having a second photographer can allow more of these photos to be captured. This size also fits into a majority of venues, with room to increase or decrease guest numbers as needed. Now, if you have a big extended family, and lots of friends, and can't seem to narrow down your guest list? Sounds like we are in for a big event. Large weddings with lots of guests can be incredibly fun and vibrant events, with everyone assembling to celebrate you and your love story! Large weddings can be a really good case for having a second photographer - with lots of people and lots of moving parts, having a second photographer effectively allows me to be in two places at once, for example, capturing cocktail hour candids of your guests while we are shooting sunset portraits.   • Do You Offer Wedding Videography?
    I currently do not offer wedding videography services. My experience and skills are based in photography, creating the best images possible, and the best experience for you while we are shooting them on your wedding day. If you are interested in a wedding video, I think they can be extremely emotive and so fun to look back on - your wedding day can feel like it flies by, and a video can put you right back into the day, allowing you to relive it all over again. This can be great for a romantic anniversary tradition - looking back through your photo gallery or album, then putting on your video while cuddled up on the couch. There is an array of hugely talented videographers in Perth, do let me know if you would like a recommendation of my favourite videographers to work with, who I know will produce an incredible result.
  • What Events Do You Shoot?
    In my career, I have shot a lot of different events. Birthdays, engagement parties, gala balls, corporate events, professional headshots, school pre-balls, hospitality venue events, you name it, I shoot it. In the first few years of my photographic career, I was hungry and took every opportunity, which led me to some interesting events, with some of the craziest including a major music festival, an INXS cover band on Rottnest Island, and fire-breathing performers at a freestyle motorcross show in RAC arena. All this experience has cumulated in a deep understanding of photography - you've seen my portfolio; it speaks for itself. But more than that, I have learned how to be adaptable to any situation, how to think on my feet, and most importantly, how to engage with anyone and everyone. That last one is so important, because the experience I provide people on the day is something I have found to be just as important as the final images - making people feel comfortable, hyping them up, and making sure everyone is having a great time is a priority for me.   • How Many Event Photos Can I Expect?
    Lots! I include unlimited photos in every photo package. I do not believe in limiting photos to a set number - if I took a good photo I want you to see it! If you are looking for a number, around 60 to 100 professionally edited images per hour of coverage is typical.
  • When Will I Receive My Event Photos?
    You best believe I want you to see these photos ASAP! I'm excited about them, and I know you are too. I do my absolute best to smash out the edits and get your gallery to you pronto! The standard delivery window is within 7 calendar days following the event. Need your photos back faster? I totally get it; you need to get that post out now! Let's make it happen. Enquire about Expedited Gallery Delivery when you fill out the Contact form and I'll take care of you. I can also provide 24-hour sneak peeks of up to highlight 20 images, to give you something to post straight away, with the full gallery to follow within a week.
  • What If My Event Doesn't Quite Fit Into The Packages?
    No problem at all! I get that your event may be unique and doesn't fit into one of my packages. I'm excited to hear all about it. Enquire about a Custom Package when filling out the Contact form and I will put a package together that suites your exact needs.
